Said Nursi Mosque
Welcome to Said Nursi Mosque, a vibrant community center located in Tottenham. Our mosque aims to serve as a central hub, conveniently situated within walking distance of Northumberland Park Overground Train Station and Bus Station. For those arriving by car, we are just a short drive from A406 – Angel/Montagu Road Junction.
Established in 2009, Said Nursi Mosque was initially registered as Nur Cultural Education Association with Companies House. Subsequently, we received recognition from the Charity Commission for England and Wales. In 2012, our organization commenced its operations as Said Nursi Mosque, providing daily prayer facilities to the community.
Since 2016, we have expanded our services to include five daily prayers ncluding Friday’s Jumu’ah with Khutbah. Moreover, we offer Taraweeh prayers during the holy month of Ramadan, and our Islamic School provides Qur’an and Tazweed classes. We are proud to host a range of activities and events, such as the Food Bazaar, Fundraising events, Football Matches, and engaging indoor and outdoor activities for children. Additionally, we offer classes tailored to adults who seek further knowledge and spiritual growth.

Alhamdulillah! A Milestone Achieved, A Debt to Clear
With heartfelt gratitude to Allah (SWT) and the unwavering support of our community, the Said Nursi Mosque has completed its £1.35 million purchase plan. After two years of effort and sacrifice, we are blessed to announce that the mosque is now fully owned by the community.
This achievement, however, was made possible by the trust and generosity of our brothers and sisters who extended a Qard al Hasan (a benevolent loan) of £400,000. It is now our responsibility to fulfill this sacred trust by repaying the loan.
